Botox Treatments

At TruYou Aesthetics Medical Spa in Maryville, TN, we offer advanced injectable treatments to address early signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, and volume depletion. Conveniently located at 1732 W Broadway Ave in Maryville, our medical spa provides expert neurotoxin (neuromodulator) injections — widely regarded as one of the most effective ways to soften wrinkles and restore a refreshed, youthful appearance.

For concerns such as sagging skin and facial volume loss, we use the most advanced dermal fillers available to enhance contours and create natural-looking results. Many patients choose to combine neurotoxin and dermal filler treatments for comprehensive facial rejuvenation and optimal, long-lasting results.

BOTOX is a world-renowned, brand name version of botulinum toxin A made by Allergan, Inc.

XEOMIN is also a brand name botulinum toxin A made by Merz, Inc. The most significant difference in Botox vs Xeomin is that Xeomin is formulated to be purely botulinum Type A. This formulation reduces the chances of allergies. Botox contains other proteins that can cause allergies.

DAXXIFY is the newest neuromodulator available. The most popular neurotoxins, BOTOX and XEOMIN, are proteins made from botulinum toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. BOTOX and all other neurotoxins use human serum albumin, which is a byproduct of human blood, as a stabilizer. DAXXIFY does not contain any human or animal-derived products; instead, it uses a peptide-based innovation. These differences allow for a faster onset and longer lasting result from treatment.

When injected, neurotoxins will temporarily relax movement of the facial muscles, preventing deep wrinkles, crow’s feet, and furrows in the skin.

We can effectively treat crow’s feet, forehead lines, 11’s, smile, and frown lines with Botox, Xeomin, or Daxxify injections.

Dermal Fillers

The Restylane® family of dermal fillers is a versatile line of hyaluronic acid (HA)-based treatments designed to restore volume, smooth facial folds, and enhance contours with natural-looking results.

HA is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin, and as we age it diminishes—causing volume loss, skin laxity, and the deepening of lines and hollows. The Restylane line uses cross-linked HA gels engineered to mimic the body’s own substance, giving your injector the flexibility to treat a wide range of aesthetic concerns.

Within the Restylane® family the formulations are tailored to specific zones and goals: for example, the original Restylane® is ideal for moderate to severe facial folds such as the nasolabial folds (the “smile lines”) and for lip augmentation.

At TruYou Aesthetics Medical Spa, we’ll partner with you to select the best Restylane® variant (or combination of variants) based on your anatomy, aesthetic goals, and lifestyle. Whether you’re looking to plump your lips, soften creases, restore youthful cheek volume, or subtly refine your jawline and chin, there’s a Restylane® solution that can be tailored to your needs.

Botox & Dermal Fillers FAQs

What is the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?
Botox relaxes targeted facial muscles to soften expression lines such as forehead lines and crow’s feet. Dermal fillers restore volume and structure to areas like the lips, cheeks, smile lines, and under-eye area to enhance facial contours and balance.
How long does Botox last?
Botox results typically begin to appear within a few days, with full results visible around 1–2 weeks after treatment. Most clients enjoy results that last approximately 3–4 months, depending on the treatment area and individual factors.
How long do dermal fillers last?
The longevity of dermal fillers depends on the product used, the treatment area, and your metabolism. Many fillers last from several months to over a year. Your provider will recommend the most appropriate option based on your goals.
Is there downtime after Botox or fillers?
Most clients return to normal activities the same day. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at injection sites may occur. Post-treatment instructions will be reviewed to help minimize side effects and support optimal results.
Do Botox or filler injections hurt?
Discomfort is typically minimal. Treatments are performed using very fine needles, and most clients describe the sensation as a brief pinch. Numbing options may be used for filler treatments when appropriate.
How many units of Botox will I need?
The number of units needed varies based on facial anatomy, muscle strength, and desired results. During your consultation, your provider will create a personalized treatment plan and review expected units and pricing.
Which neurotoxin is right for me: Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, or Daxxify?
Each neurotoxin works similarly but may differ in onset, longevity, and formulation. Your provider will help determine the best option based on your goals, treatment history, and desired outcome.
Are Botox and dermal fillers safe?
Botox and dermal fillers are FDA-approved treatments when administered by trained medical professionals. At TruYou Aesthetics, treatments are performed by experienced providers who prioritize safety, natural results, and individualized care.
